Iran in Slideshows - Esfahan

Iran is a mountainous country with a full range of climates and season as well as a people who while very similar can show affinity with neighbouring countries in the border regions. I found this pretty fun as a tourist but it has taken some force internally to ensure there is enough homogeny during these last 100 years of development to keep the nation united in times of turmoil.
We went to many different towns and cities on our journey from Tehran to Shiraz and the back again to go north and then back again to Tehran. It was really fun and a rewarding adventure. It is hard to describe all that I have learned and witnessed in the time I was there without writing a book so I have attached various slide shows for your viewing pleasure below. I have purposely reduced the quality so if you would like higher quality pictures let me know.
This slideshow is of our journey to Esfahan from Tehran and of Esfahan itself. It was Iran’s for a few hundred years and has many beautiful buildings and handicraft. There are seven slide shows in all. Click Next to see the one after.
People in the West have an impression of Iran, the geography and the people, from many years of hostile misconceptions. I hope to show you the other side of Iran; the diversity, the beauty and fun.
